The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment

having always been intrigued to read this book, I found the premise of The Power of Now both empowering and interesting. the belief that we can exist on a much higher spiritual plain by simply existing in the now, letting go of our past and not worrying about the future seems simple enough. it's not though. in fact, if anything I found the book a little too long and mind boggling, overall, though I do think our man Tolls has a good point.
through answering a series of questions he would expect his reader to ask, Tolle challenges human behaviour and patterns that we have come to know as learned and normal. By choosing to exist in the 'now' we can de-stress and start to see life for what it really is.
overall, I enjoyed the book and certainly have taken some important lessons from it.
