Why is it that most books that you read on the topic of mindfullness encourage you to stop thinking? When did thinking become such a bad thing? I believe that the message of being more present in each moment is a good one. Stop going through life on autopilot, but really why does being fully present have to exclude thinking?

I had a horrid time getting through this book. I got hung up a few times on the capitalization of words that shouldn't be capitalized like the word Now. I got hung up on the odd insistence on hyphenating: pain-body, life-destructive, life-energy, mind-projected, life-situation, problem-making. Really? I kept trying to push past the writing to get to the message but it didn't seem like the author really was sure how to explain it either and just kept emphasizing the words weren't important that you can't understand this concept with your mind anyways.

The author used many examples of other teachers from different religious beliefs to try to explain his own. To end this review I'm going to quote some one who I think summed up the duck nibbling you to death feeling I had all while reading this book:
