SUPPLEMENT #4

to

Women's Bureau Bulletin 267, Part II

This report is the fourth supplement to Part II, Analysis

of Rates and Coverage, of Women's Bureau Bulletin 267, State

Minimum-Wage Laws and Orders. The material in this supplement

covers the period from January 2, 1961 through January 1, 1962,

and it includes the analysis of minimum-wage rates and coverage

established by 1 new statutory-rate law and 25 new or revised

minimum-wage orders. In addition, wage orders in Connecticut,

Pennsylvania and Washington, as amended by 1961 enactments, have

been revised. Altogether, 13 States, the District of Columbia,

and Puerto Rico established minimum-wage rates, enacted new

minimum-wage laws or amended existing legislation during the

12-month period ending January 1, 1962.

Further supplements will be prepared periodically, for in-

sertion in Bulletin 267, Part II, to keep current the minimum-
wage data.
